Green Below Fontenelle November 1, 2015

Date / Time: Sunday, November 1 2015 Location: Green Below Fontenelle. Blue Rim Road access just above Green River town The Characters: KK Weather: Sunny and windy but warm in the high 50s. Water Temp: Think I took a reading day before, but don’t remember in low 50s I think Water Level: Around 900 cfs Water Clarity/Quality: Clear some moss on drift still. Moon Phase: Few days after full moon Hatches: BWOs Best Flies: Tung Cone Playboy Bunny Fishing: Day 2 of Halloween trip with Tammy and Anna to Green River. This was Halloween day and I had only a quick hour to fish so headed just above town and found this access. Good water but didn’t spot any fish. Threw the playboy after the slaughter the day before and hooked several slow stripping and swinging it but they were all smaller bows. It was cool seeing that water for first time and there was some good stuff but no big fish. Will go back there, could launch a boat there or take one out.
