She was super cute and having a great time. Got her on the oars a few times and she seemed to like it. Had the streamer rod, and threw while moving through. Planned on stopping way down river and fishing BWOs for a bit during picnic but I hooked a fish just above Rollercoaster and dropped anchor. Anchor slipped as I netted fish and then grabbed and got wedged in some rocks. Spent 20 minutes trying everything and stressing out since I had the girls in the boat. Debated cutting it, but wanted to try and avoid it. Eventually a lodge guide came down and offered help and threw me his throw bag. I tied it around the anchor and had him row across since that was the angle and we got it free, but I was moving into the rapid. I ripped up the anchor, threw it in the back of the boat undid the throw bag, threw in the oars and we were in the rapid backwards. I corrected it and recovered but it was sketchy and so we pulled over and took a breather. After that, we had already been on for a couple hours so were behind schedule. Decided best course was to push out, but I still threw the streamer here and there. Had several eats and got a good fish in dripping springs area rocks. Fish were up all through lower water on BWOs and it would have been excellent fishing, but we were heading out. Made a few more here and there casts, but nada more.
