Date / Time: Sunday, June 28, 7:30 a.m. to 5pm Location: Green River Utah B/C section float all the way to pipeline The Characters: KK, BK, Matt Olson Weather: Mostly sunny, warm, up to 90s Water Temp: 58 degrees at dam according to USGS Water Level: 1800 for the most part while we were on Water Clarity/Quality: Crystal Moon Phase: Between first quarter and full Hatches: Caddis, Sallies, PMDs Best Flies: KK Caddis, Widow Sally, Rusty Spinner Fishing: Got on water early around 7:30 and were first boat. Fished caddis on the drift initially and there were sporadic caddis around with sporadic eats. We got several good fish on the drift, not on fire but good fishing with various caddis on the edges. Eventually as we got down into pugs around 11am, sallies started to show a lot more so we switched over and immediately stuck a few. They were starting to come up more by then. Below red creek ran into Petro who was breaking down Red Creek camp and sallies were coming off thick. Slayed on sallies for a while, then they were on PMDs so switched. Got them good on various PMDs, some fish pickier than others. Worked some in a side channel above wagon crossing right and missed and lost some pigs. Eventually switched to rusty 16 on 4x and hammered them on the drift and to fish we saw on the way. Slowed down around 3 or so and last couple miles pretty sporadic with last mile almost nada. Fun day.
