Green River Utah 12-31-2013

Date / Time: 12-31-2013. Launched around 12pm Location: B section float Green River. The Characters: Kory, Brian, Punkass(Brett Johnston). Weather: Slight overcast at beginning of day, then mostly sunny. Temps got into low 40s and it was pretty comfortable. Water Temp: Upper 40s guess Water Level: Low around 800 and stable Water Clarity/Quality: Clear Moon Phase: Few days after New Moon. Fishing: Threw streamers again after A section the day before. Fishing was immediately fairly good on the streamer. Actually got quite a few rainbows throughout the float. Darker colors seemed best with the red eye sculpin being the top fly. Got some on goldilox and black, white was not happening really though. Got one or two on white I think, but in general dark was much better. Got some nice fish below red creek. Saw a lot of nice rainbows on the sandy spots in mid river and on spawning beds all the way down below red creek. Not very many risers down here as opposed to A section day before. No wind at all to speak of, excellent day.
