Fishing: This was day 2. We threw streamers again on the drift, and the fish were still a little reluctant but were more willing than on B section the day before. There were times when they were a little more on it but overall you had to really put the voodoo on it to get eaten. Old red eye was the most productive, tried and true as it is. There were quite a few fish up on midges throughout the upper end and not just the slugs in the backeddies. We stuck to the streamer though. The Blue winged olives came off like they always do this time of the year starting in the early afternoon. It was a pretty good hatch especially considering that it was pretty warm and largely sunny. Caught plenty of fish on the old 18 pa again on 5X no need to tech out as the pressure has been light and the fish were pretty easy. Fish were much healthier and fought better than on section B the day before. For the last mile after the hatch switched back to the streamer and as usual they were on it better here than anywhere else. Fun day with my dad. Good times.
