Date / Time: 6-13-2013. Location: Henry’s Fork Last Chance and Wood Road. The Characters: Kory Weather: Mostly sunny and breezy. Water Temp: mid 50s guess Water Level: Low around 700. Water Clarity/Quality: clear. Moon Phase: First quarter. Fishing: Had a conference call in the am, so was delayed. Got to Last Chance around 11 and headed to Angler’s Lodge on Mike recommend. Fish were up on PMDS when I arrived. Had the 16 PA on from night previous with 5x so just threw that. First fish ate it confidently. Ended up hooking several nice fish 16-21ish all on PA. Landed 3 or so and lost the rest. Fish were going good for a couple of hours on PMDs. There were also caddis coming off and other miscellaneous, killer session. As that wound down Mike showed up but had meetings so couldn’t fish. I wandered around looking for risers, but nothing much up. Went to log jam, few fish up but no big consistent. Had one or two eat but didn’t hook. Headed to Wood Road and spotted a few pigs up on cliffs, but didn’t cast since a guy was down there. Walked down and there were a few fish around, got one going consistently on bank but it wouldn’t eat PA there were sporadic PMDs, baetis and caddis. Threw beetle, but nope. Eventually got him to eat tan EZ caddis 18 and good battle landed 17-18 incher good fish. After that risers sporadic except down by another guy so headed up. Spotted a few pigs but they were heavy on the move, saw one smaller fish hammering nymphs so threw dropper and instantly hooked and landed 15 inch chromer. Headed to Trout Hunter and wind and t storms kicked in and killed the evening.
