Henrys Fork Idaho 6-15-2013

Date / Time: 6-15-2013. Location: Henry’s Fork Box Canyon. The Characters: Kory, Tammy, Twinkle, Mike, Megan, Patty Calahan. Weather: Sunny and warm. Water Temp: mid 50s guess. Water Level: Low around 700. Water Clarity/Quality: clear. Moon Phase: First quarter. Fishing: Mike stayed out late previous night so was hung over and didn’t even stay in house. As a result heavy delays in the am. I was chomping at the bit but Mike insisted on fishing the box and finding a loaner boat when I wanted to just fish the ranch with Tammy. Ended up floating the box to my chagrin with Twinkle and Tammy in my boat. Fishing largely sucked, we fished dries but fish weren’t into it. Lots of guide boats nymphing slots, but Twinkle didn’t want to nymph so we got schooled. Headed to Henry’s Fork dinner at 5:30 but were able to hit the last light at Millionaire’s and I got a good fish on the rusty spinner. Mike got one good fish he said as well.
