LC Ranch November 15, 2014
Date / Time: Saturday, November 15, 2014. Afternoon. Location: LC Ranch The Characters: Kory K. Weather: Windy, cold, partly sunny. Air temps in 30s, wind chill bitter. Water Temp: Low 40s guessing Water Level: Ponds were all full for the most part Water Clarity/Quality: Mostly clear Moon Phase: Day after last quarter Best Flies: Green eye mohair leech, beadhead blood leech, olive bugger Fishing: Drove out mid morning with Tammy and Anna to grab some things Tammy needed and to get out of Salt Lake. Got there around 11 and I headed to fish. Fished cabin first from the bank and got two fish on the grassy beach including one pig on the blood leech that followed and ate it at my feet in the sand. Left there and hopscotched to see what was happening. Weather was very cold since it was howling wind and 30s. When I got out of the wind, it was not bad. Got fish at inlet to upper, upper lodge mostly small tigers that were fired up. Got a bunch of small to mid size bows on house off the point. Got a few browns and a couple tigers on fisher creek probably a rainbow too. It was getting low sun and fished dog off the point in the middle for nothing, then hooked a couple at the inlet and was freezing so called it good.
