Lower Provo River 1-30-2013

Date / Time: January 30, 2013 Location: Lower Provo Campground Area The Characters: Kory and Brian Weather: Sunny high 30s low 40s calm Water Temp: High 30s guess Water Level: Low around 98 cfs Water Clarity/Quality: Clear. Moon Phase: Day before full. Fishing: Brian and I went down for a couple of hours early afternoon. Fished fro 2-4 or so. Parked above campground and walked down into upper end. Saw a few risers at first so rigged dries, but then they shut off. Switched to palsa with brown bead #16 trailing various stuff. Hooked plenty of good bows and some browns. Most fish ate the bead, put the smaller sow on and several ate that. Brian got several on the purple disco black head as well. Fish were all in specific areas of slower water off of the main flow, when you found them it was pretty constant. Hooked a few bigger bows in satellite far side and one nice brown in gomez. Good day.
