Lower Provo River 3-19-2013

Date / Time: March 19th, 2013 Location: Lower Provo The Characters: Kory Weather: Mostly sunny high 40s low 50s breezy. Water Temp: High 30s guess Water Level: Low around 98 cfs Water Clarity/Quality: Clear. Moon Phase: First quarter. Fishing: Headed down after working through morning and got there around 2. Stopped at the tunnels to see if fish were up and sure enough a couple of nice fish up in the pockets. Rigged and fished there, got a few decent fish in pockets above pull out but most fish up were smaller. Cripple BWO I tied got em ok, but think it was a bit too big. Drove up to Hoover parking and fished through some of the faster water, not much up walked down below hoover and worked some fish for a while but only managed one. Sporadic risers and picky with low clear water. Switched to shallow nymph and hooked a few and headed out.
