Provo River, Utah: March 10, 2010

Date / Time: 3/10/2009 Location: Lower Provo River The Characters: Kory Kapaloski Weather: Mostly sunny, Breezy Water Temp: 38-39 (guess) Water Level / Tide: Low 100 cfs or so and stable Water Clarity/Quality: Crystal Clear Moon Phase: Last quarter, tail end Fishing: Dropped Tammy off at the airport around 12:30, she had to fly back to Chicago after we had been in Altamont for a few days for her Grandma’s funeral. I drove down to the lower Provo solo, got there around 2:00 and stopped at the chalet area to look. Bunch of fish up so I rigged up. Ended up getting several to eat and sticking some decent ones but lost and missed most as I was quite rusty. Headed up river and parked below the campground where the new road ends up at the top of the hill. Walked all the way down to the pine run and fished a few spots here and there but never saw much coming up since the hatch had mostly tapered off. Late in the day around 4 a few more BWOs started to show up and I found a few sippers on the far bank of the Pine Run. Stuck and landed two decent fish there and then headed home.
