Provo River 2-3-2013

Date / Time: 2/3/2013 **Location:**Middle Provo below dam The Characters: Kory Weather: Mostly sunny. Water Temp: Low to mid 40s. Water Level: Low 143 cfs Water Clarity/Quality: clear. Moon Phase: Last quarter. Fishing: Went up mid day with Tam to get out of inversion, beautiful up there. Sunny, blue skies and warm. Parked at old bridge and worked down. Fished the first holes below bridge with shallow nymph rig bead with sow behind and hooked a few on sow. Not on fire but hooking some fish. Worked down through to lunker to look for risers, didn’t see any and there were tons of dudes. Walked back up and worked big pocket that I like and hooked several small fish and few mediums. Hooked one big fish but felt fouled and then broke it off trying to force it. Tammy wanted to head out after that so we left. Fish ate the sow, and some on tan yong special and brown bead.
