South Fork Ogden River Below Causey June 2, 2018

Date / Time: Saturday, June 2, 2018 Location: South Fork Ogden River in canyon below Causey Reseroir The Characters: Kory Weather: Sunny 70s Water Temp: High 40s guess Water Level: Around 70 cfs Water Clarity/Quality: Clear Moon Phase: 3 days before full Best Flies: Chubby Fishing: We went to Ogden Music Festival in Ogden for the weekend and I drove up for the morning through mid day after having been up two weeks previous with slower fishing and no caddis. Was hoping caddis were out with a drop of 50%, but nope. Looked around at several locations up and down and only PMDs or some other similar mayfly with sporadic anything else. Threw the drake since I’d seen some the trip before but no interest. Hooked a couple on droppers and had few eat the chubby but nothing of significance, overall slow couple hours so headed back.
